Archive Window

The Archive Window page allows you to enter the number of days the dataset archive data should be kept on JDC. The purpose of this feature is to help conserve hard disk space. Entering 0 means keep the data indefinitely.  It is recommended that data be purged at least once a year, and more frequently if possible. 

The ClickTracks Pro Processor will retain a permanent set of the raw data retrieved from the JDC, so theoretically data could be purged from the JDC as soon as the Pro Processor acquires it.  This is not recommended, however!  Six months is a good time frame to provide duplication of data without filling the disk.

Of course, this time frame is a function of the size of the hard drive and the amount of data being collected.
