Removing Accounts |
|
Removing an account will remove the account itself as well as all the datasets contained under that account. When you click on the 'Remove' control associated with an account, an alert dialog will appear asking you to confirm the removal.

Clicking the 'Remove' button for an account removes all datasets under the given account.
Removal of an account does not actually delete the account or its datasets. Removal of the account results in the following changes:
| • | No data will be collected for any datasets under the account |
| • | Data will no longer be rotated (since there is no data being collected) |
| • | The account owner will no longer be able to log in to the JDC administration site |
However, the existing data remains, and the account can be restored at a later time.
Note: Visitor data that was not captured for removed datasets can not be recovered. The data simply does not exist. Therefore, removing a dataset and then restoring it will result in a gap in visitor data.
