Hardware Specifications

In general, the JDC does not require particularly powerful hardware.  However, it is important to understand the role hardware plays in the various functions the JDC performs in order to get the optimal configuration. 

The complex processing tasks for the JDC are performed in batch mode, usually daily during the night. The sizing questions treat data collection and batch processing distinctly because in large JDC installations these can run on separate boxes.
