Rotation Scheduling

Rotation Scheduling allows you to control the frequency with which the access.log file is rotated to the .NLF and .CTC files and the dataset is normalized.  By default, the rotation occurs once per day, typically in the middle of the night.  This means that the Pro Processor will only be able to process data as recent as that time, and thus the end-users will only have data up to the most recent rotation time.  If you need the data more up-to-date than the previous day, then you can increase the frequency of rotations.

Override Global Rotation Scheduling? Check this if you wish this dataset to be rotated on its own schedule or to send an email report to a different user.

Starting Time:  Enter the time each day when the first log rotation should start.

Frequency:  How often should log rotation occur?

Send Reports:  Specify the circumstances under which you want the reports to be sent

Email Reports To:  JDC Help Reports of Dataset Rotation will be sent by email to the address(es) in this comma separated list.
